Foundry Chaplet
We have put forth for the clients a huge assortment of Foundry Chaplet in various specifications.Chaplets are supporting components used during casting process between mould and core to maintain uniform wall thickness of the casting. These products are made from high quality raw material. Our chaplets are available in single and double columns to meet the specific requirement of our customers.
Single Stud Chaplets
Single stud chaplet or light duty chaplet used in foundry to support the core in machine moulding and light castings. In this type round head cold rolled sheet thickness 0.35 mm and 0.5 mm. Stem diameter is 1.5 mm.
Double Stud Chaplet
Heavy Duty Chaplet
Heavy duty chaplet regularly used to support the core to maintain the required wallthickness top and bottom of mould. This type made with round or square head cold rolled sheet with diameter 20mm and 25mm, sheet thickness1mm or 2mm. Stud diameter 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm as per customer requirement. Surface finished with Tin coating.
Pin type or Nail type chaplet
Pin type chaplet just like stud type chaplets with extension of the pin to use support the core from side wise and some critical area. In this type there are plain and Perforated, tin coated available.
Box type chaplets
Gendraly it is used for thin walled castings. Especially it is suitable for pressure tested castings like pump casing, gearbox housing and engine cases blocks etc., We can supply the range from 4mm to 20mm with sheet thickness 0.14 mm, 0.35 mm, 0.50 mm. The material we use tin seat, cold rolled low carbon Steel, copper and aluminium. we can also supply box chaplets with perforation, length breadth, height, sheet thickness as per customer requirement.
Core Vent / Air Vent
Air Vents or core vents used in foundry industry. For core making process core vent used to escape the air inside the core box. It will give better surface finish of core or mould.
There are different types of vents available like Brass Core vent, slotted vents, mesh vents, self-cleaning Vents, Steel Vents.
Slotted Brass Vents
Slotted Brass Vents made from turned Brass round bar slotted with 0.2mm and 0.3mm.
Size available standard height 7mm in diameter 4mm to 20mm. We can also supply 10 mm height or as per your requirement.
Slotted Steel Vents
Steel vents are manufacturing from high quality steel for withstanding high temperature, and hesitates from wears.
Steel Vents available in 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm.
Mesh Type Vents
Mesh type vents turned brass body fitted with steel wire mesh.
It helps to vent out air, heat & more efficiency during core making process.
Size available diameter 6mm to 20mm.
